christmas in ghana

For Christmas this year I travelled to Ghana with charitable organisation called Cross-Cultural Solutions to work as a volunteer for 3 weeks. CCS place volunteers within different organisations within the community that are in need of help and support. This includes, schools, hospitals, and orphanages.

Well.  Not quite our very own.  (We borrowed him from our New York friends CBX recently in exchange for our very own Jason.)  Neither is he an American Gladiator, that we know of.  But he did write a marvellous piece for Brand New on the new American Gladiators logo, which you can find here in all its glory. 

One of our first thoughts (after 'what lovely writing' - insert your own designers writing joke here -) was if our gladiators had looked like theirs, the whole show would have been infinitely better.
