new book

Packagingdesign

Reading reco from Mark L:

We’ve just discovered a new book, ‘Packaging Design’ by Bill Stewart.  It's a very interesting, in-depth book on the history, future and current applications of packaging, which looks at the entire design process - understanding the audience, the designer's toolbox (materials, techniques etc), creating concepts, design development, working with brands, packaging obligations and responsibilities and the role of a designer.

Anyone associated with packaging design (not just designers) should read this book. It's very useful.  Plus Bloom gets a mention!

One of our planners Ed visting Bushmills last week, recreating a famous Led Zeppelin cover.   Can you guess which?

No?

Well you don't have to.  House of Holy.  Of course.

Either that or it's a very sharp excuse for falling over.  You never can tell with these planners.

hubba love

We put Hubba Bubba up on our Things We'd Love to Redesign bit of Flickr thinking what a treat it would be.  Next thing we know we get an email from a friend telling us this prince amongst bubblegums is getting some love of a different variety in Sydney

Nice or gross idea?  Nicely gross maybe.
