We recently faced a whole 9 minutes to wait for a train at Richmond. When you're used to instant tubes, waiting for overland trains seems to take forever. That got us thinking about the customer satisfaction treadmill:
The more we make, The more we spend, The more we want, The faster we get it, The faster we want it, The more convenient it becomes, The more we realise just how convenient it could be, The more our unreasonable demands are met, The more unreasonable our demands become.
While we were contemplating our unreasonable demand for instant public transport, we found a refreshing brand to fill our 9 minute gap. Family owned Puccino's kept us warm with tasty lattes and entertained with its quirky sense of humour printed all over its sugars and cups.
It's not often that knitting makes us speechless. In fact it's never made us speechless, until now.
The colours, the quirkiness, the cosiness and the downright randomness make us love this Mexican bus. If anyone feels like making a London bus equivalent, please be our guests. Great spot by Jem via Yarn Bombing
Now here's a cleverly creative idea helping save our planet, one glove at a time. The team at Glove Love take in abandoned lonely single gloves that have lost their original partner. After some cleaning and sewing TLC they're paired up, giving them a new lease of life. The result is a never-ending supply of one-of-a-kind sustainable winter warmers that live happily ever after. Ah, that makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
