Bloom's hiring new talent

We're looking for a Senior Designer and a Mid-weight Designer.

Both will get to work on some of the world's biggest brands. Our client list includes Diageo, Nestlé, General Mills and PepsiCo. We also work with non-FMCG challenger brands and start-ups like Mr & Mrs Smith and Cowshed.

As a top 20 design agency experience, passion and professionalism are givens. What we're really looking for is wow factor. We want to see people and portfolios with creative flair. We want to see proof that you think differently, challenging and pushing briefs into provocative and unexpected areas. And we expect you to intuitively work in 360° terms, sharing our belief that brand design isn't just a pack or a logo, it's everything.

Friends of Bloom: Emma Cowlam

Our congratulations to Emma Cowlam, a friend of Bloom, who is now showcasing a range of hand stitched illustrations inpsired by the London Fashion scene, at the V&A shop.

A graduate of Chelsea Art School in textile design, Emma designs and produces beautiful illustrations using unique combination of illustration and sewing techniques.

Bloom's favorite book covers pt.II

The suggestions for new book covers have been flooding in and a few of our favourites are posted to the right.  Let us know if we've missed any of your favorites.
We also stumbled across these cover designs by Jim Tierney, a Brooklyn-based illustrator.  His Jules Verne series beautifully echoes the author's imaginative fiction, just as all good covers should.

 

 

 

New Talent

Our designers have been scouting around for the best of this summer's graduate shows and found some really great talent (most of which we're selfishly keeping to ourselves). 

We came across Emma Bennett an illustrator who not only has a fabulous portfolio but an excellent website and blog to match, a perfect example of how all graduates should market themselves.
