Well, not literally. Sainsbury's is swapping the milk bottle for a milk bag in an effort to reduce carbon footprints up and down the country. Seeing as us Brits get through over 9 billion pints of milk a year, this innovation could have a significant impact. But without a jug, you're in danger of getting more milk over you than your cereal. Waitrose launched this concept a year ago, with no dramatic changes to people's milking habits. It seems we're just not ready to say goodbye to the trusty milk bottle.
Apple has made the 'reflections' look the height of graphic fashion.
We've seen this happen before with the bevel emboss solution. Big branded corporations have a habit of unimaginatively keeping up with the Jonses. Jumping on the brand fashion band wagon prevents truly forward thinking design and can be detrimental when the
graphic solution goes out of vogue.
